The every other day blog

Pictures:
1.) COWS: Either these cows were interested in our group or a local wanted to buy Ellen from Sid.
2.) SEA of GALILEE: The view from our boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
3.) CLASS: the class the I had the opportunity to talk to in Nazareth.
Wow...two wonderful days of traveling. This part of the trip has taken us to the Galilee and the Golan Heights and have we seen a lot. We have visited the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth, traveled to the Sea of Galilee, eaten St. Peter's fish (whole), sailed on the Sea of Galilee, reflected at the Mount of the Beatitudes, walked the path and visisted Tel Dan, educated on the history of Israel...all in two days.
I can speak for the entire group and say that everyone is having a GREAT time. We are all safe and healthy; maybe a tad tired but worth it. Hope all is well in the States. Know that we think of you all often. Take care and continue to blog.
No texting while driving!

Finally Posting after TWO days!

Hello from Israel and sorry I haven't posted until today, Monday, March 8, 2010. We got hear safely, everyone is doing well, and we are all having a great time (except some are suffering from a lack of sleep, myself included).

We had a great day of traveling yesterday starting from our hotel in Netanya, The Blue Bay. We headed down the coast to Herod's great city, Caesarea. From there we headed in land to the biblical site of Megiddo. We ended our day we arrived at our home for the evening, Nes Ammim.

We now are all awake and excited about another great day of traveling. The weather today is beautiful...sunny and expected to get into the 70s. Wonderful! Thanks again for blogging and journeying with us. Stay tuned for updates.

Hello all and welcome to this year's blog. As you might know, 26 folks are leaving tonight for the long journey to Israel (long but worth it!). Please feel free to comment and send messages to loved ones and I will make sure they get your messages. Thanks for coming along on this journey with us through this blog. Have fun...I know we will!

Take care!
